About
Hampshire based artist with a love for nature. I am surrounded by woodland which is full of wildlife. From this I draw my inspiration as well as nature as a whole. I have always loved Owls and they feature highly in my paintings
I had always wanted to paint in watercolour but never had the opportunity or time until just before I retired from a 25 year teaching career. Having got to grips with watercolour I also started to enjoy the art of mixed media and I then branched out into the world of coloured pencils and I am thoroughly enjoying the experience which I hope shows through in my artwork. I value my painting days and the feeling of creativity and tranquility they provide. Hopefully looking through my website you will get as much enjoyment from my artwork as I have got from them. There is a little piece of me in each artwork.
